lol, people suggesting that GANK are any good.

They just gimmick HA, and got high rank from it. All are pretty bad players. Yes, and that includes starcraft, the kid just plays heaps with gimmicks, he isn't good at the game.

1) Last Pride, by far the most skilled players this game has ever had together with perfect team synergy, only weakness they had was that they only wanted to play pretty much the way they really wanted to and suffered some losses against gimmick builds, mostly because they didn't WANT to change there playing style.

2) War Machine, comes pretty much second in all time playing skill, they only had pretty bad backline but they had atleast as good team synergy as [EviL]. Great individual skill, who could forget First Queen dominating everything with her ranger.

3) The Valandor/Irresistible Blokes/Team Everfrost/Apr, finnish lads had there own "Ensign", Grub, who is excellent at numbers and understanding of GW mechanics. The days GW came out Grub already had a build in his pocket (fast cast air) which leaded them dominating the ladder with 52 straight wins in a row and they ended up playing @ GWWC in Taiwan later on. Later on with iB, Jeppe took big part in build creation and legendary 2W, 2Me, 3Mo, Emo build was created and took over 100 consecutive wins at ladder, including dozen of wins over [RenO], 2 wins over [EviL] and many wins over [EW], peaking @ 1890~~ points in ladder, only [EviL] has had more points in ladder than [iB]. Infamous AoD+Recall Warriors build was Jeppe's creation which pretty dominated on Druid's Isle.

4) iQ & Ensign, great players and great tactician

Define "good". If "good" in this thread means how well a guild scores in PvP, I won't bother thinking of any guilds. There's a GvG roster for that.
And who says PvE guilds "hammer the invincible party button"? I don't even know what you mean by that. (oh and please don't say Ursanway, not all players use that you know).

Imho, "good" means the way a guild manages itself, and treats its members, be it PvP or PvE. I also think if a guild has managed to stay alive and active with ~50 members for 3 years now, that's good. What skills members use is insignificant, it's the way a guildparty manages to play on the whole, and learns to adapt that's good or bad. But hey, that's just my vision of the game.

Unfortunately, I do not know every guild in GW, so it's really impossible for me to say. I'm happy with my own guild, so to me LJ is the best ^^

Edit: I do have a "good" opinion of: DVDF, KISS, DRGN, PINK (for ingame events), and others who have contributed to the community (like the guild from the dingbat contest, the UW clear contest and such).

LaZy in PVE for being a mature group of people who bring enjoyment to the game, and for the fantastic community events they have run in the past year. Roll on Ocktober Fest 2008.

As for PVP, i like to watch lots in Obsy mode, havent really got a fave, just a big fan of great tactics.

Yes you're correct, however haven't met so far anyone who understand GW better than Ensign. iQ also had some good Warriors not forgetting Rayne who is very talented.

Te had great players but they never achieved as much as iQ and they even lost to [LuM] in Taiwan by playing very bad Build Wars eventho in my opinion Stepn was propably most talented monk in GW history together with Jim1.

Interesting. I thought Avarre's comment rather crass.

Best guilds are the ones that are still active after 3+ years of playing. Good leader + core group of players = good guild.

Malice, these people posting LaZy/SNOW, etc. really think these guilds aren't simply subscribers to quantity > quality. I hope it's sarcasm, but it's not.

Judging by the OP's response to his own thread, it's inferred that best means best rank/performance wise. This might be an unpopular thing to say, but I'm going to nominate [rawr] as one of the best if not the best. They Build Wars'd out everyone else and won the gold, and I guess that's what it really comes down to.

"RED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GO their guild lord up!" or something like that, right?

No idea for GvG. I know most that are mentionned but tbh I'm not skilled enough to make a list a say "this one is better than this one"
